Passenger refuse to exit the vehicle at drop off location.

Modified on Wed, 1 May at 12:25 AM

We strive to ensure a smooth and respectful experience for both drivers and passengers at Kabby. However, on rare occasions, you may encounter a situation where a passenger refuses to exit the vehicle at the designated drop-off location.

Here are the steps you should follow:

  1. Stay Calm and Professional: Maintain a calm demeanor and politely remind the passenger that they have arrived at their specified drop-off location as per their booking.
  2. Reiterate the Drop-off Procedure: Explain to the passenger that for safety and scheduling reasons, it is important that they exit the vehicle at their booked destination.
  3. Offer to Contact Support: If the passenger remains uncooperative, offer to contact Kabby support for assistance. This can help mediate the situation and provide guidance.
  4. Ensure Your Safety: Your safety is paramount. If at any point you feel unsafe, it is important to keep the doors unlocked and, if necessary, leave the vehicle and distance yourself from the situation.
  5. Contact Authorities if Necessary: If the situation escalates and the passenger becomes threatening or refuses to leave the vehicle despite support’s guidance, it may be appropriate to contact authorities for assistance.
  6. Report the Incident: After the situation is resolved, report the incident to Kabby through the app. Providing details of the event helps us to take appropriate actions to support you and to prevent such occurrences in the future. Passenger's account may subject to termination depending on the nature of the incident.

Your safety and well-being are our top priority. We thank you for handling these challenging situations with professionalism and urge you to utilize the resources available to you through the Kabby app.
